The ITU CTF '26 competition, organized in partnership between the Istanbul Technical University INFOSEC Club and the Vocational School of Cybersecurity, was held. Participants successfully completed various challenges, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity.

The competition’s opening ceremony began with remarks by Prof. Dr. Kemal Bıçakçı, Founding Director of the Vocational School of Cybersecurity. Wishing the participating students success, Prof. Dr. Kemal Bıçakçı highlighted the contribution of such events to the development of practical skills. Faculty members from our department also attended the opening ceremony in full force to support the students.

Following the intense competition in which the students showcased their skills in the cyber world, the awards ceremony took place. The awards were presented to the top-performing students who placed in the competition by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Sinan Çabuk, the new Director of our  Vocational School of Cybersecurity. Çabuk congratulated the competitors and wished them continued success in the field of cybersecurity.

ITU CTF 2026 served as an important platform for participants to take a step toward a secure and successful future in the cyber world.
