Cybersecurity Awareness Event with Students of Alaattin-Nilüfer Kadayıfcıoğlu Girls’ Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School
As part of its outreach and awareness efforts, Istanbul Technical University Vocational School (ITU MYO) visited Alaattin-Nilüfer Kadayıfcıoğlu Girls’ Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School to engage with students on the importance of cybersecurity and introduce vocational education opportunities in the field.
During the visit, ITU MYO faculty members provided comprehensive information about associate degree programs in cybersecurity, including curriculum structure, practical applications, and career prospects. The session also highlighted the growing significance of cybersecurity in Turkey and around the world, emphasizing the increasing need for qualified professionals in the digital age.
Through interactive presentations and Q&A sessions, students were informed about current cyber threats, digital safety practices, and pathways to becoming cybersecurity specialists. The event aimed to raise awareness among high school students and encourage them to explore future careers in cybersecurity.
